We’re waiting for our flight from Heathrow.
Every thing went well, everything was well organized - tank you!
We also had luck with the waather: Just some hours „englisch rain“ and only the last day with fog.
All other days where mostly clear, sunny and perfect fro walking. Ok, it was sometime cool and windy, but we were prepared.
Here just some feedback for you from us:
- from our experience the „best“ B&B during our holiday where the Warwickhouse, the Fieldhosue and the No4StIves.
- The one on Scilly was ok, but very small - we had luck that we could be most of the day outdoor. It would be difficult, if we would have wet clothes to dry over night. If somebody wants to stay multiple nights on Scilly, perhaps an other B&B could be offered. But I want also remark, that the Westfordhouse is very good located near the Harbor, location was perfect for us.
- Some of the B&B offered Lunch-Packages, we used their service, where was not store. If you could note that in the ittinary, this would help other visitors for the planing.
Please note, this are not a criticism but only suggestions/feedback. We are satisfied with your service and your advice.
Kind Regards and thanks again!

(Penzance to St Ives and 5 days Isles of Scilly - April/May 2018)
The walking distances and accommodation were great. It was sheeting rain on day 2 of hiking so I took the bus that day, but other than that, everything worked out fine. I've attached a few photos for you.
(St Ives to Penzance October 2017 - 5 day/6 night walk)
We want to thank you very much for the planning and preparation you did for our walking holiday in Cornwall.
We had a great time (the weather was good after gale force winds on the day we left St Ives) and the walking each day turned out to be about the right amount. We swam at some of the beaches. Thank you also for the accommodation and recommendations for places to eat -they were excellent

The walking trip was excellent. Couldn’t work out why the first day was only to be 10.5 kilometres. Now I know….rock. Forgot England was built on a rock (and why , unlike in Australia, the shopping centres don’t have underground carparks). Later on walked in the Yorkshire Dales…and again rock. Accommodation fine (well, read quaint for Pothcurno) with the Dolphin really, really good. And your suggestion of the pub in Treen was spot on.
Again many thanks.
We are glad we chose Nearwater Walking Holidays

We had a wonderful stay in Cornwall.
Everything was perfect. The weather ,the lovely accommodations and the pick-up service.
We enjoyed it very much.
The recommendations for dinner in the local pubs were always very good.
Thanks for the good organization of travel.

Dear Mr Whitaker,
The holiday was superb. Walking in this beautiful landscape with good weather conditions and sometimes challenging paths without many travelers crossing our ways was a pleasure. The accomodations you had chosen were absolutely satisfying and comfortable.
Neat and clean houses waterfront with gentle and helpful personal plus a various selection for breakfast. The inns/restaurants also delighted us well. It was luxurious having the luggage transfered to the next station everyday. Everything was in order, we didn't have any problems regarding transportation or orientation.
In a nutshell, you did a great job and met our expectations. We would totally recommend your service. I attached two pictures of the Cornish scenery - feel free to post them on Facebook or your website if you like.
Thank you very much!

(St Ives to Mousehole - May 2016)
Overall it was the best walk I have done.
The accommodations were all good. In fact some were exceptional of note was the Porthperro. ONe of the best I have every stayed in. The owners were fantastic and the village i wonderful.
My ONLY comment is that the difficulty of the walk can not be stressed enough. The first couple of days out of St Ives were brutal. I am glad we stopped short at the Tinner arms.
Talked to a few folks who did the whole thing to St Ives and some were so beat up they stopped walking for days.
All in all Tim. You choice of distances and accommodations were fantastic. Would recommend you to anyone doing the walk.

First we want to thank you for organizing our walking holiday. Everything was more than ok even the weather was perfect for walking!
For us the walking distances matched very good. We had enough time to enjoy the views, the landscape and the sea. The accommodations also were very good; very friendly and obliging owners and staff.
Especially „the Dock Inn“ in Penzance. The Distance to the Ferry an also afterwards to the station is perfect.
All together: we spent a recreative holiday in Cornwall.

(Trip to the Scilly Isles followed by Penzance to St Ives Walk - September 2014)
i wanted to say thank for this great organisation at our holidays. We had a wonderful walk, at a lovely coast.
The Blue sky inn in St Ives is a wonderful acomodation, nice room, nice people, the Pub in Pendeen watch was a litttle bit dirty, but rustic, i think a typical pub, and in porthcourno, i think it would be important to let the people know, that theys are not allowed to get into their rooms before 16.00 . we arrived at 15.00 and we had to wait until he opened the door. It was a nice room and the man, chris was really nice, and the atmosphere in there was very friendly- But if we had knwon that we are allowed to go in at 16.00, not earlier, we could have make the walk a little more slowly.
But i told, we had had great holidays. And i should say, that ACE Taxi was so in time, and they were so nice the drivers, my son was happy about it. I will put some pictures at facebook.
Thank you very much again! Regards from Germany!
